Jonathan is EMG’s resident advisor on all things linguistic. A writer, editor and proofreader, he has been shaping stories and wrangling words for most of his life – and getting paid for it for well over ten years.
He describes himself as having the birth certificate of a Millennial, but the fastidious approach to spelling and grammar of a Baby Boomer, making him a kind of oddly laid-back and digitally savvy pedant.
After gaining experience in real estate, higher education, telecommunications and retail, he set up his own freelance writing business and has written for clients in IT, finance, recruitment, government and multiple small businesses.
Mild-mannered and unflappable under almost every circumstance, Jonathan uses Australian rules as his outlet and it is highly inadvisable to be near him during Melbourne Football Club games.
